American Dream/Immigration: In times of upheaval, fears of decline are displaced onto the figure of the stranger. In reality, immigrants perform the essential invisible labor that ensures systems run smoothly. Yet manufactured fear of the other becomes an emotional fog that obscures how wealth and resources are truly distributed.
